Altaviate Gets Strategic Investment from A-TechSYN and Amonyx

Altaviate, a Defence-Focused spinoff company of Amonyx ApS focusing on
Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) succeeded in securing strategic funding worth €
5.000.000 from A-techSYN Ltd in return for %49 shares in the company to drive
European Innovation and Arctic Readiness.

Copenhagen, 2025-08-20
Two leading European aerospace innovators, Amonyx ApS (Denmark) and A-techSYN Ltd
(Ireland), have formally joined forces. The joint venture marks a significant strategic move to
strengthen European capabilities in fixed-wing Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) with a
special focus on defence, Arctic operations, and cutting-edge technologies.

Denmark based Altaviate is a privately held limited company (ApS), which will be led by
CEO Allan Molbech, a veteran in Aerodynamics, autonomous flight technology and
systems integration.

“This is a pivotal moment for Nordic and European defence innovation,” said
Molbech. “Recent developments show that there is an indisputable requirement
for systems specifically developed and built for defensive purposes. Altaviate
brings together breakthrough IP from two proven aerospace leaders to build
highly capable UAS platforms for strategic missions — especially in Arctic,
maritime, and infrastructure-critical environments.

believe this partnership will jump-start Altaviate as a brand new agile and
flexible actor in the UAS defence domain. Denmark will soon be producing
military grade UAS which will be capable of operating under severe Arctic
conditions and GNSS denied environments and comply with NATO standards”

“Denmark is a very special place for A-techSYN. We performed our first flight outside of
Ireland which also has been the biggest Hybrid VTOL fixed wing BVLOS UAV flight in Danish
Airspace at the time at the International Drone Show 2019 in Odense. The CGT50 VTOL
UAV was also used to perform the first ever long distance delivery in Greenland with the
authorisation from DAA a few years later. The system performed 5 fully automated BVLOS
flights back to back from Nuuk to Kapisillit which is over 100 km distance. “, said CELIK,
Founder and CEO of A-techSYN. “We have been developing UAS for the last decade and
became an end-to-end solution provider. A-techSYN started expanding its operations
globally by creating Local Manufacturing Partnerships (LMPs). Altaviate is one of our LMPs
with which we are hoping to extend our reach into the defence market and segregate
between dual and military use.”

Altaviate will seek further investments to establish a modern facility in Denmark to
manufacture special and military grade UAS. “We have the technology ready, we choose the
facilities. As the next step, we are seeking investment to build a manufacturing facility in Denmark with a capacity to manufacture 200 LALE (Low Altitude Long Endurance) class
VTOL and CTOL UAS annually” said Alan Mollbech.

The Danish company, ESBEES ApS, has been facilitating the creation of the Joint Venture.

Combining Forces for Strategic Capability

A-techSYN has agreed to contribute its UAS systems architecture and proprietary
technology, field experience and end-to-end solution development expertise to
Altaviate. Combined with Amonyx’s patented Augmented Lift Technology (ALT),
composite materials expertise, and aerodynamic design Altaviate will have the capability
to develop new IP which is required to solve operational requirements of strategic
missions.

The joint IP contributions are valued at over €10 million, and form the technical backbone of
the company’s next-generation UAS products.

A Strategic Asset for Denmark and the Arctic

Altaviate is designed from day one to support Danish defence priorities, with a special
emphasis on:
● Greenlandic and Arctic surveillance
● Logistics and reconnaissance in harsh environments
● European Defence Fund (EDF) and NATO-aligned projects
● Compliance with national defence regulations and EU export regulations
● Environmental and ESG-aligned design for defence operations
The company is in early dialogue with partners in the Danish Defence Acquisition and
Logistics Organization (DALO) and with Arctic operators.
