Airpelago, a leader in power line inspection using autonomous drones, is delighted to announce its recent multi-year contract with Tensio, one of Norway’s biggest electricity network operators. Under the agreement, Airpelago will inspect approximately 8,000 kilometers of overhead power lines annually across Tensio’s network.

“We are thrilled to announce our first major tender win outside of Sweden, marking a key milestone in our expansion into our neighboring country, Norway,” said Max Hjalmarsson, CEO of Airpelago. “This partnership allows us to leverage our state-of-the-art autonomous drone technology to enhance the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of Tensio’s operations while we continue to grow and adapt our services to new markets.”

“Tensio has successfully integrated drone technology into our power line inspection processes for several years, affirming our belief in its effectiveness. With Airpelago, we found a correct balance of price and performance without compromising safety or quality. We are confident that this partnership will further enhance our operational capabilities and continue to set industry standards.” commented Eirik Thorshaug, Head of Maintenance, Tensio.
