Airpelago awarded a new project for 250 kilometers of LiDAR data capturing and detailed inspection.
Airpelago is excited to announce that Vissi AS, based in northern Norway, has awarded us the contract to collect LiDAR data and perform detailed inspections over 250 km of their electricity grid.
The project will be executed in three phases:
- Capturing LiDAR data with drones
- Annotation of LiDAR, enabling drone automation
- Detailed inspection (“Toppkontroll” in Norwegian) with autonomous drones
Airpelago is looking forward to commencing this project later in 2024 and aims to surpass Vissi’s expectations in terms of efficiency and quality.
